The Village of Schaumburg offers a free weekly e-newsletter that is distributed Friday morning to anyone interested in learning more about village services, programs and events. Nextdoor

The village partnered with Nextdoor, a private social network for neighborhoods, to improve village-wide and neighbor-to-neighbor communications. With Nextdoor, Schaumburg residents can join private neighborhood websites to share information with neighbors. The village is posting information, such as important news, services, programs, public events, and emergency notifications to Nextdoor websites within the village to help build stronger, better informed neighborhoods throughout Schaumburg.

Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)

Many public documents are available on this website. Those who can't find what they need on the village’s website are asked to submit a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request and the village will do its best to accommodate the request.

The village strives to provide public access to all village documents and processes consistent with legal requirements and privacy provisions.
