Should I enter my film in Screen Test Local Fest, Screen Test Jr., or the International High School Competition?
Where you live and the year you are in school will determine the Screen Test event in which you should enter your film. Once you determine that, please consult with the rules and regulations to make sure your project is festival eligible.
All students submitting films to Screen Test must be in the following grades (or equivalent) as of Fall, 2018 to be considered for acceptance into the 2019 fest.
Screen Test Local Fest
Friday, April 12, 2019, 7:30 pm (CDT)
Open to students who live within 30 miles of Schaumburg.
U.S. High School Grades 9 - 12
Note to local high school students: Do not apply for for the International High School Competition. By entering your film in the local fest, you will be automatically considered for entry in the international competition. The winning film from the local fest will automatically advance to the international fest (other local films may be accepted into the international competition based on merit).

Screen Test Jr.

Screen Test Jr. is an international competition open to students in grades K - 8. While in many countries, grade levels are similarly structured to U.S. levels, there are differences. Generally, Screen Test Jr. is open to older students who have not yet entered high school (or upper-level secondary school). Screen Test International High School Competition

This might include upper secondary school or vocational schools for students who are not in university.
