The Farmers Market

You’ll find locally grown fruits and vegetables, meats, flowers, plants and gourmet cheeses sold by the farmers who produce them. The market also features decadent pastries, baked goods, olives, spices, home made pasta and knife sharpening services. This family friendly activity offers freshly squeezed lemonade, kettle corn and snow cones made on site. Enjoy the unique flavors of summer at the farmers market!

The market also features decadent pastries, baked goods, olives, spices, home made pasta, and knife sharpening services. This family friendly activity offers freshly squeezed lemonade, handcrafted ginger soda, veggie burgers, crepes, tacos, kettle corn, and snow cones made on site!

Weekly Entertainment

Enjoy weekly entertainment and appearances by the Park District, Schaumburg Township District Library, Prairie Center for the Arts, our public safety heroes from the Police, Fire and Nursing Divisions and the Master Gardeners from the University of Illinois Cooperative Extension Service.   All entertainment is free and is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Are you interested in becoming a vendor in 2018? 

Booth space is sold out for 2017.

  •  If you have any questions about the market, call Martha Dooley at 847.923.3855 or send an email.
  • If you are interested in becoming a vendor in 2018,  read the Application Packet,  to become familiar with the documents required.  The 2018 application packet will be posted in mid-February, 2018.
  • Review the market Rules and Regulations to see if your product qualifies.      
  • Some select dates will be available if you are interested in attending the market for a single day. A completed application and the required insurance documentation will be required.  
  • Fees for the 2017 market season remain unchanged at $215 for a full season booth space and $40 for a single day. The booth spaces are the size of two parking stalls which is about 18' x 18.'   There are a small number of booth spaces measuring 9' wide x 18' deep; fee for the 1/2 booth space is $115 for the full season, and $20 for a single day.
  • There is an additional weekly fee of $12 per booth space for the extended dates through the last Friday in October.
