Commemorative Exhibition
Join us for the opening of a special commemorative exhibition celebrating Schaumburg's 70th Anniversary and America's 250th Anniversary. The exhibit highlights Schaumburg's history and evolution over the past seven decades through historic photographs, an anniversary film, items from the 25-Year Clock Tower Time Capsule, and other unique displays.
The exhibition will officially open on July 6 and remain on public display at the library through September 2026, allowing residents and visitors to explore Schaumburg's rich history throughout the summer.
Concert in Town Square
Following the exhibit opening, join us as we celebrate America 250 and Schaumburg's 70th Anniversary with a live performance by Mellencougar, a John Mellencamp tribute band, beginning at 6:45 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets as we gather for an evening of music, community, and celebration.
