The Village of Schaumburg encourages the public to participate in the next Community Blood Drive that will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1320 W. Schaumburg Rd.

Interested blood donor participants should call 1-877-25VITAL (1-877-258-4825) or register online and use sponsor code ORD0SH98. Appointments are highly recommended to reduce wait times; however, walk-ins are welcome.

Participating donors will receive a coupon for a free pint of Culver’s frozen custard. All donors will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a gift card.

Schaumburg partners with Vitalant to offer six blood drives a year for the community to help with blood donation. For more information about the village’s community blood drives, visit the village website, dial 311 in the village, or call the Nursing Division at (847) 923-3766.
