The Environmental Health Division works to protect public health by enforcing local and state regulations associated with the operation of all licensed food establishments, daycare centers, body care establishments, hotels, and home-based businesses within the Village of Schaumburg. This work includes conducting construction plan reviews, licensing inspections, routine inspections, temporary event inspections, responding to complaints, advising the public on environmental health issues that adversely impact human health, and pursuing enforcement action when warranted.
