Elevator Semi-Annual Inspections

Each elevator or other conveyance requires an annual license. License fees are payable between February 1st and March 31st of each calendar year beginning with the 2017 renewals. Effective for 2017 renewals, renewal invoices will be sent out separately from all other licenses on a business account. Semi-annual elevator inspections associated with the annual license are performed in the spring and fall of each year. Citywide Elevator Inspection Services, Inc. is the company that conducts these inspections on behalf of the village. Upon satisfactory completion, elevator certificates will be signed by Citywide elevator and must be placed on display inside the elevator.

If you need to schedule a re-inspection of your elevator, you may contact Citywide Elevator directly at 888-757-8113.

Any and all re-inspections required will be invoiced over and above the annual license fee.
