OXCART Permit Systems

The Village of Schaumburg uses an online-based overweight/oversize truck permitting system via a website, www.oxcartpermits.com.

Companies applying for an overweight/oversize permit in the Village of Schaumburg should Create an online account and once registered, the Trucking login/sign section can be used to access the account and its benefits such as:

• Access a simple to use online interface for requesting local permits
• Paperless permits downloadable to your computer or any mobile device
• Provide an easy, online payment system

Permit Fees

Single Trip (5 day)

• Village Permit Fee: $50.00
• Oxcart Fee: $5.00

Round Trip (10 day)

• Village Permit Fee: $80.00
• Oxcart Fee: $8.00

Quarterly (90 day)

• Village Permit Fee: $200.00
• Oxcart Fee: $15.00

Processing and Credit Card Fees

In addition to the Village of Schaumburg permit fees, Oxcart charges a nominal processing fee for each permit and each credit card transaction that is processed. Those charges are:

• Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Diner’s club – 2.9% of total permitting fee (permit & processing fee combined)
• Plus a $.30 transaction fee for ALL permits
