Neighborhood Watch Groups, Associations and interested neighborhood groups are encouraged to participate in this exciting event. Neighborhood Watch is an important program designed to make our neighborhoods safer by residents working together and what better way to get to know your neighbors than to have a block party!

To host a National Night party on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, groups are required to complete a registration form by July 24. This will allow us to better provide sufficient materials as well as scheduling visits from police officials and village dignitaries. We recommend that NNO events be held in the neighborhoods between 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. If your event requires closing part of a street, contact the Village Hall at 847-923-4420 to obtain a block party permit and arrange for delivery of traffic barricades from public works.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to meet your neighbors, make new friends, and develop a partnership between the community and police department AGAINST CRIME.
