The public information meeting will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Community Recreation Center, Renaissance Room, 505 N. Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg, IL 60194.

Project exhibits will be available for public review and project team members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.

The public comment period will take place July 23, 2026 - August 24, 2026. The purpose of the public comment period is to obtain public input on various preliminary concepts for the proposed improvements.

The consultant is working on behalf of the Village of Schaumburg, and all comments submitted by the deadline will be shared with village staff and become part of the official project record.

All comments received by Monday, August 24, 2026, will become part of the official project record.

• Comments collected from the public comment period will be shared with the Transportation Committee of the Village Board along with the preferred concept.
• An Intersection Design Study will be completed, if warranted.
• Traffic management plans (detours) will be further investigated.
• Design approval from the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT).
