The public information meeting will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts, 201 Schaumburg Ct., Schaumburg, IL 60193.

Project exhibits will be available for public review and project team members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.

The public comment period will take place May 28–June 17, 2026. The purpose of the public comment period is to obtain public input on various preliminary concepts for the proposed improvements.

All comments received by Wednesday, June 17, 2026, will become part of the official project record.

• Comments collected from the public comment period will be shared with the Transportation Committee of the Village of Board along with the preferred concept.

• An Intersection Design Study will be completed, if warranted.

• Traffic management plans (detours) will be further investigated.

• Design approval will be requested from the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT).
