Hangar and Tie-down Rentals
The Schaumburg Regional Airport is a great location to base your aircraft. All parking is located within a securely fenced area. Tenants can drive their cars to their aircraft through two coded gates or walk to their aircraft through pedestrian gates or the terminal building.
The airport is conveniently located near the Elgin-O’Hare Expressway making it easily accessible by ground. The time spent on the ground taxiing and waiting to depart is low compared to other airports in the area because the airport is an uncontrolled field with a full parallel taxiway.

Tie-Downs
The Schaumburg Regional Airport has 150 tie-down locations, all on a concrete apron. The monthly rent for a tie-down is $90. Tenants are required to supply their own tie-down ropes. Tie-Down License
Hangars
The Schaumburg Regional Airport has five different hangar buildings configured in four different styles. Hangar License

The A-Hangar units are T-shaped hangars with a door width of 42 feet and a tail depth of 33 feet. Each hangar has an electric bi-fold door, and some units have heat. As of May 1, 2024, the monthly rent ranges from $455 to $605.

The B-Hangar units are T-shaped hangars with a door width of 48 feet and a tail depth of 39 feet. Each hangar has an electric bi-fold door, and all units have heat. As of May 1, 2024, the monthly rent ranges from $660 to $860.

The C-Hangar units are box hangars; 60 feet by 60 feet. Each hangar has an electric bi-fold door, and all units have heat. As of May 1, 2024, the monthly rent is $1625.

The D-Hangar and E-Hangar units are T-shaped hangars with manual rolling doors; 40 feet wide and 32 feet deep. As of May 1, 2024, the monthly rent is $340.

Meeting Room Rentals
One meeting room is available for rental in the lower level of the terminal building. The meeting room measures approximately 20' x 26' totaling 520 square feet and is furnished with stackable chairs and 2' x 5' folding tables. It also features:
- Dry-Erase Board
- Wi-Fi (public)
- 65 inch TV with HDMI connectivity
- Projector (ceiling mounted with VGA outlet at the front of the room)
- Telephone for teleconferencing calls within the U.S.
The meeting room can be configured in several ways and seats up to 56 people. There is an adjacent kitchen area that is also available.
Available rental dates and times are as follows:
Mondays through Fridays: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sundays: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
How to Rent the Meeting Room:
Step 1. Contact the Airport Manager at (847) 923-3778 or Administrative Secretary at (847) 923-3861 to confirm available dates and times, or for any questions.
Step 2. After confirming the availability of the date and time of your meeting, fill out an Airport Meeting Room Rental Agreement and email the completed agreement to the Airport Manager or Administrative Secretary.
Step 3. After receiving your finalized Rental Agreement back from Transportation Department staff, submit payment through the Airport Room Rental Portal.
