Septemberfest will still be held on the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts and Municipal Center grounds (201 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg, IL 60193), during the Village Hall construction project continuing through 2026.

Please respect the neighbors near the festival grounds.

No tarps, chairs, blankets, or other personal items are permitted in the parkway along the Summit Drive parade route prior to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6. Any personal items found in the parkway prior to Sunday evening will be removed daily and confiscated for disposal.

Tarps and blankets must not exceed 10' x 12' in size.

Alcohol and/or glass bottles cannot be brought onto the grounds during Septemberfest. Festival staff reserves the right to inspect all coolers.

All persons who wish to purchase and/or consume alcohol must obtain a wristband for $1 at a designated station on the Septemberfest grounds. If you appear to be under 30 years of age, two valid forms of identification are required; one I.D. must be state issued and include a photo.

Pets are prohibited on the Septemberfest grounds. ADA recognized service animals are permitted.

Skates, skateboards, bicycles, E-bikes, scooters, and E-scooters are prohibited on the Septemberfest grounds. Bike racks are available at the bike path off Summit Dr.

Lost & Found is at the Police Command Center located in the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts. After the festival the items will be taken to the Police Department, located at 1000 W. Schaumburg Rd. (847-882-3586).

Septemberfest strives to provide an atmosphere that all visitors can enjoy. However, those with mobility concerns should note that portions of the festival take place in unpaved areas.

Be sure to check the local weather prior to leaving home and utilize weather apps and alerts on your smartphone.

Know your location and where to seek shelter if threatened with inclement weather. Signage will be readily available at the fest to help guide participants to safe locations. Emergency shelter locations can also be found on the interactive Septemberfest map online. Please refrain from seeking shelter in tents.

Attendees of Septemberfest can sign up to receive timely fest-related emergency notifications on their mobile devices. Notifications will alert attendees of a fest closure or suspension due to inclement weather or other types of emergencies. Sign up online or text FEST2026 to 888777 during the weeks prior to the festival.

If you see something, say something. Remain vigilant and report information on threats, or perceived threats, directly to the police department by dialing 911.
