Taste of Schaumburg Dates & Times:

Sunday, September 6, 2026 - 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Taste of Schaumburg is held the first two of the three days of the festival; not-for-profit organizations partner with restaurants and food vendors to sell food and beverages on Monday. Restaurants sponsoring not-for-profit organizations may also serve alcohol on Monday.

Entry Deadlines:

• Preferred Taste of Schaumburg Application Deadline*: June 10, 2026
• Final Taste of Schaumburg Application Deadline*:
  July 1, 2026

*Applications submitted after the Preferred Application Deadline of June 10 and no later than July 1 will incur an additional $100 fee if the restaurant is accepted into the fest.

A maximum of 24 area restaurants will be accepted. Restaurants outside of Schaumburg will be considered. Please note Septemberfest accepts local restaurants, not food vendors or trucks, for participation in the Taste of Schaumburg at Septemberfest.

The Taste of Schaumburg flat booth fees will be charged upon acceptance: 

• Alcohol Fee (beer, malt beverages or wine): $3,500

• Meal/Entrée/Non-alcoholic Beverage Booth Fee:
  (space and layout confirmed by the Menu Review Committee and the EPW Department)
  $2,200 for one regular space
  $3,200 for one space by an exit
  $4,200 for one corner space

• Dessert/Snack Food Booth Fee: $1,500

• Extra Electricity Charge: $100 per additional 20-amp circuit (drop); limit of 6 additional four-outlet circuits (drops). Each restaurant booth will receive two 20-amp circuits (drops) included in their booth space for no charge.
